Permanent Makeup 2nd Session Watercolour Full Lip Tint
Follow Up 6 Week Appointment To Perfect The Permanent Lip Treatment
This lady came to me 6 weeks ago for a watercolour full lip tint. I always do this procedure as a two step process to make sure clients are really happy with the healed end result. I usually find that clients like a softer colour in their initial appointment as they are a little apprehensive at first. I always tell client that we can add more colour at the second appointment but its harder to take it out.
The client loves the healed result and would like to go a little more vibrant and add more pink hues to the tone. With a much finer needle on the second appointment I can alter the shape to create as much fullness as possible for the client without going over her natural lip tissue.

The permanent lip pigment is custom blended to create a similar result as the 3rd Lip Gloss (from the left) below.
Many Clients Ask Me To Tattoo Over The Natural Lip Tissue!
I avoid this at all costs. The result is not natural and the color applied heals very different on skin than it does on the lips. (Click here to see examples on Google) Clients always come to regret this decision should the technician agree to do it. In my opinion we can get a beautiful natural fuller lip illusion without crossing the vermillion border.

What Will The Healed Result Be Like?
Although the colour looks too bright and almost like lipstick immediately after treatment, the colour will soften and turn translucent within around 3 to 5 days.
