This lovely lady had been toying with the idea of permanent makeup for years, but after loosing a substantial amount of weight felt the confidence to go ahead and permanently look her best.

I always ask clients to bring in a selection of their favourite lip glosses and tints so i can bespoke a beautiful permanent colour just for them. when i mix a colour for these clients i always make sure i start a bit too light as i can always add colour but can’t take it away. i like to make sure it is at the most natural scale of all the glosses a clients likes to wear as no one wants a night time look permanently!.

This client prefers soft natural pink colours. The picture below, post treatment, is no reflection of how the procedure will heal. The bespoke colour I mixed will heal similar to the lip gloss on the right in the image above.

After seeing the lovely natural healed result up close the makeup artist of this bride booked in and had her own permanent make up done too.

Although the Lip colour looks very dark immediately after treatment, within 4 or 5 days the colour will soften by around 70% turning translucent and the client can just wear Vaseline to moisturise and add shine. The colour will fade gradually over the years and the client can come back for a colour booster every year or two.
